  We enjoyed our stay. There were several toys on the balcony for us to use (shovels, buckets, etc.). The location to the pool was great for young children. One issue we had was that the curtains on the backdoors did not open and close all the way no matter how many times we tried to get it to work. Also, we rented chairs and an umbrella from Chaise N Rays and would highly recommend them! This was a good time to come. Even with the holiday weekend, the beach was never super crowded.

  Overall we had a great time! The condo was nice, was grateful for all the beach items they had from infant to older child! I would definitely list this on the posting so ppl don't pack those things. I will suggest mattress upgrades or a pillow topper of some sort and also the master mattress protector was dirty/had food stains and crumbs when I took the sheets off to be washed at the end of our stay, which I know wasn't from us bc we don't eat in beds. Other than that it was great! The front desk staff was exceptional with personal issues that occurred during our stay. We love staying at the Inn.

  We had a four generation family vacation. The ground level condo was convenient for all ages, especially direct patio access to pool and beach boardwalk. The condo itself was well-appointed and clean. No issues at all. Arrival was simple and convenient. With the codes already provided, there was no need to find anybody or do a traditional check-in. We loved the location of the building. Plenty of beach for everyone to spread out.

  My two day and grandson stayed in unit 104 for a week. We really enjoyed the ground floor unit. It was clean and very comfortable. My grandson stayed in the pool most of the trip. All enjoyed the laid back feel of the island. A welcome change from the crowded beaches we have visited. Ordered steamed seafood from Skinners twice which was fantastic. Overall, great visit. Will definitely come back.

  This is the perfect location for rest and relaxation; the ground floor unit was perfect for using the pool and walking to the beach. The unit had everything we needed in the kitchen and was clean and nicely furnished. The only draw back to our stay was the maintenance that made it nearly impossible to sit in the pool area. They were sanding and a layer of dust landed on everything; including our skin, books and chairs. Plus the noise all day long was enough to give anyone a headache. I would love to go back when I can really enjoy the serenity of the island.

  would stay again; however, upon arrival our condo was not as clean as it should have been(especially for what you pay).. there was shredded cheese left around kitchen sink, chip on floor by stove and what appeared to be like a spaghetti sauce on bathroom door. Ceiling had signs of past water damage. I immediately filled out the “needs” form and left on service desk. NEVER heard from anyone about the issues. Luckily I had some cleaning supplies I had brought and was able to give it a quick clean. Property was right on beach, nice pool and gated parking.

  We had a wonderful time. The condo was absolutely beautiful and just the right size for my husband and I and 2 children. We loved that we were able to just walk out and the pool was right in front of us. We love Dauphin Island. It’s such a laid back peaceful place. The condo had plenty of towels and extra blankets. The beds were comfortable. The kids enjoyed playing with there daily shell finds at the table. We just really had an amazing time. And the condo was absolutely perfect for our little family getaway!!!

  My wife, son, and I enjoyed our stay in this condo rental. The patio is within steps of the pool, and the beach is a short five-minute walk down the boardwalk. The beach on this part of the island is beautiful, with expansive sandy beaches. It was great for my son (a toddler) to play in. The condo itself was also nice. Some of the furniture seemed a little old, but everything was very comfortable. Beach condos get lots of traffic from little ones running around, so I'm not sure posh furnishings are the best, anyways. The location is a short walk from several restaurants, and a few others can be reached by car or bike. Overall, we loved our stay and would come back here in a heartbeat. Great value.

  Easy check in and out. Loved being right beside the pool. Noise wasn't bad, lightly reflective window and good curtains so still had plenty of privacy. The room was clean, everything worked good, the beds were comfy. The only thing I could complain about is the shower head, but I don't think I've ever stayed anywhere with a good shower head. Overall the place was top notch. Always love Dauphin Island, so peaceful.

  First, the unit was stocked with everything we needed. The (2) lazy boys were just what we needed to wind down in the evening. The heated pool was just ten steps from our patio. Our beach walks were fabulous; not to mention there were no high rises to obstruct our view. It is the best kept secret in Alabama.

  This is our fifth year enjoying this beautiful, peaceful island with our daughter, son-in-law and three grandsons. It is a great retreat for all--away from a fast-paced life. We enjoyed the pool; the ocean, of course; and the rather rough but scenic golf course. We attended the Methodist Church and found the locals were most welcoming there and at other places. Local eateries were unique and the food outstanding. The only bad thing was the man-eating flies, but we had bug spray. Our accommodations were pleasant although there were so many personal decorations on table tops, etc. that we had to move things around to find room for our belongings. We had to cramp our clothing, etc., in drawers because linens were stored in the dresser drawers, and the dishes had to be moved so we could find room for our food. Not complaining--just suggesting. Since we had a very short stay, we did not have time to visit other places this trip, but have in the past--there is plenty to do without being "touristy".

  Everything was great. This was a trip to visit family living in Mobile, we all met at DI, we had 4 generations and everyone enjoyed their stay. The folks at The Inn are wonderful. They went above and beyond.
  Our unit was comfortable, we were able to prepare great meals and also enjoy the wonderful seafood available at the local DI restaurants.

  It was the off season, but there were several light bulbs needing replacing. The outdoor furniture was very rusty, the shower heads were full of salt/rust??
  It fit our need to be close to the Sea Lab because our daughter was there. I would rent another room from a different owner, but I WILL NOT rent unit #104.

  The condo was not exactly what I was expecting, but it was not in any way an un-pleasant surprise. I guess I just assumed it was single dwelling, nothing was mis-leading. The property was very well maintained and clean. The lady at the front desk was MORE than helpful. (I wish I could remember her name, but I'm AWFUL with names!!!) She even brought us a bottle of champagne when we told her it was our 26th wedding anniversary. And, I have been bragging on Dauphin Island and would highly recommend it to anyone. It's a cozy little place that's not commercialized and a fun place to visit/vacation!

  We had a lovely time at The Inn. The staff was attentive and friendly. A short walk got us to the beach. The pools were clean and always ready to use. The unit we were in was clean, comfortable, and had everything you would need to prepare and serve meals.
  To me, people make the most impression. I had the opportunity to speak with the manager. He was professional and courteous. The desk clerk I spoke with most, was quite knowledgeable about the area, and extremely helpful. The pool man was willing to pass the time while he worked. I even had the opportunity to speak with house keeping. All personnel that I encountered were amazing.

  We had a great time. Location was perfect and the local restaurants and shops were super friendly.
  Suggestion for condo: provide hand soap at all sinks, liquid dish soap for hand washing/scrubbing of some dishes. Also, would be helpful to provide items to clean off electric grill. The light over range was out.
